Elementary Education Program
A comprehensive and rigorous elementary education program is provided for students in grades Kindergarten through 5th. At the Academy of Saint Bartholomew, students achieve academic excellence and spiritual growth in a small, caring community environment rich with student-centered technology, fine arts, music, and before and aftercare programs. Our dedicated teachers are passionate about education and inspire students to become future leaders and well-prepared global citizens.
The Academy provides a challenging, integrated curriculum which incorporates STEM with tradional daily lessons in General Studies, Language Arts, Mathematics, Reading & Phonics, Religion, Science, and Social Studies. Students in grades K-5 have weekly Art, Music, Physical Education, Library, Computer, and Spanish Classes.
The Academy of Saint Bartholomew strives to be at the cuttin-edge of innovation, incorporating best teaching practices and technology. Kindergarten through 3rd graders are provided access to Apple iPads while 4th and 5th graders each have their own Chromebook device.

Why us?
All Lower Junior classes are taught predominantly by their form teachers and teaching assistants within their own classrooms. The exceptions are Games, French, ICT, library and music, all of which are taught by specialist staff. Swimming lessons also begin in Reception once a week at York Hall swimming baths, taught by qualified swimming teachers.
